How to get here

The national park can be reached via the state roads:

• D429 (Selište Drežničko – Prijeboj) from the direction of Zagreb/Zadar
• D52 (Vrhovine – Korenica) from the direction of Otočac (A1) 

The state road D429 passes through the eastern part of the park and past the two main entrance and reception areas in the visitor zone of the national park, Entrance 1 and Entrance 2. Visitor parking is provided at both entrances (for a fee), and the bus stop is situated in the direct vicinity of the entrance.

The road D429 is also used by the bus lines that connect the interior of Croatia with the coast. We recommend that you check the current bus schedule at the park information offices, or on the website of the Zagreb Bus Station (www.akz.hr). Since the main entrances are about 3 km apart, we recommend that you plan your visit in advance, in order to select from among the various tour programmes.

To improve movement through the national park, we recommend that you pick up a copy of our tourism map, available for sale at the park information offices (Entrance 1, Entrance 2, Flora auxiliary entrance, train station 3) and souvenir shops.
