Employees of Plitvice Lakes National Park have participated in an interesting workshop on climate change, “Climate Fresk”. With the help of the workshop mentors Ivana and Jelena, we have gotten to know science-based facts about climate change in a creative and accessible way, using cards to connect the causes and effects of climate change.
The facts are taken from the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, and the “Climate Fresk” concept comes from France, with its main author being Cédric Ringenbach. The hard work of the mentors has brought the workshop to Croatia to improve climate literacy and attempt to raise awareness of the problems caused by climate change, or rather climate crisis we are experiencing.
