We are very proud to present you our educational material consisted of several illustrated books, which acquired positive opinion from Croatian`s Ministry of Science and Education as an educational material that can be used in teaching activities for Elementary schools and in kindergartens! You can find our educational material in souvenir shops during your visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Let your children dive into interesting stories about forests, watermill, Alcon blue butterfly through the picture books “A Forest Tale”, “The Power of Water” and George, the Great Ant”, which are suitable for children from 5-9 years old, and also let them enjoy cheerful rhymes in stories “Getting to Know Bears”, “Getting to Know Otters”, “Getting to Know Butterflies” and “Getting to Know Dragonflies” for kids age from 3-7. We also believe that children will love our guidebook “4KIDS”, in which natural and cultural values of Plitvice Lakes National Park are described as a part of UNESCO`s World Natural Heritage.
We also invite you to check out short educational animated movies, which describe in a picturesque way two wonderful stories, one about the most important process that forms tufa barriers and the lake`s system (From water drop to tufa barrier) and the other about the specific life of Alcon blue butterfly (The Alcon blue butterfly). In these challenging times when teaching activities are performed online, these animated movies can be used as an additional educational content.
