Dear all, we would like to inform you that registrations for the 38th Plitvice Marathon are open. Plitvice Marathon is organized by the Athletic Club Plitvice and the main sponsor is Public Institution Plitvice Lakes National Park.
The 38th Plitvice Marathon will be held from 2nd until 4th June, and this year competitors can choose between a 5 km trail, a half marathon (21 km) and a marathon (42 km). The Plitvice Marathon, as the oldest and greenest Croatian race, attracts an increasing number of competitors every year, and this year competitors from more than 25 countries are expected.
The interesting thing is that, this year, the Plitvice Marathon is part of the competition calendar of the 1st Croatian Road League, which is held in cooperation with the Croatian Athletics Federation.
The limit of competitors is 1,000: 350 in the half marathon run in honor of Valentina Valjak (deceased winner of the 35th Plitvice Half Marathon), 350 in the marathon and 300 in the 5 km race.
