As of today, the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a gem of Croatian natural beauty, offers a new opportunity for visitors to enjoy their visit — the Tomićevo Pogledalo viewpoint. This new viewpoint stands at an altitude of 684.82 m. It was designed following all the environmental guidelines and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the five lakes this oldest and biggest national park in Croatia is famous for.
Tomislav Kovačević, general manager of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, welcomed the delegates of the Croatian Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Damir Habijan, as well as around twenty guests and Park staff, to the formal opening of the viewpoint and gave a speech.
“The opening of this viewpoint represents a new step in the preservation and promotion of the beauty of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. As general manager, it is an honour to provide our visitors not only with an opportunity to enjoy this magnificent view, but also to connect with our natural surroundings on a deeper level.”
