We are pleased to announce that the traditional Plitvice Lakes National Park promotional week will take place from 1 to 8 April 2024 at a destination of exceptional natural beauty adored by millions of visitors from all over the world. This particular week will be specially marked by the very important 75th birthday of this national park — as an ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’, Plitvice Lakes were declared a national park on 8 April 1949.
The unique value of this area was recognised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which included Plitvice Lakes National Park in its World Heritage List thirty years later. In order to celebrate this very important 45th anniversary of international significance, we are also announcing the Autumn Promotional Week, which will take place, this year, from 26 October to 3 November 2024.
As every year, we have prepared special ticket prices for the promotional week. You will have the opportunity to experience all 16 emerald lakes at reasonable prices at the moment when nature wakes up from its winter slumber in a special atmosphere — the forest becomes lusher and the dazzling array of colours is enchanting.
Tickets must be purchased online, and we recommend that you choose one of the visitation programs in advance or download our apps to better plan your visit.
